Wow! Time flies! For the past few years, I have been hearing people saying that time flies, mostly by the elderly, but I didn't really felt it. The first few months of this year went on really quick. To be honest, I can't really remember what I did or what happened during the past few months. My earliest memories of the year starts from around March. Speaking of March, I am going to talk a little bit about the March holiday.
I remember joining the librarian's one day camp to KLCC. It felt a little weird at first as 99% of the participants were librarians and a few friends and I were the only non-librarians. We were told to wear shoes on that day, but I didn't, I wore slippers instead. I didn't know we were actually going to run for a long period in the treasure hunt game. To make it simple, I hurt my feet.
A few days later, I went for a 2 days camp called Camp LAH!. It was my second time joining this kind of camp and I learned a lot. I understood appreciation and determination. I realised a lot on that week alone, it is kind of hard to explain but through someone, I finally understood who I was and what I am, it might sound crazy or hard to understand but that is what it really is. Just to state out a few things, I started arranging my bed after waking up and I started arranging my clothes neatly and not just piling them up messily in the closet.
April, getting back to school was fun and exciting for the first time. This is where the blurry memories start again, blurry as in not clear. What I do remember is the number of times I am late to school increased from about 3 to 8 (viewing from June). There were times I woke up late and also times the road was extremely jam caused by road accidents. I was late four times in a month (April), it felt really bad as my mom have been asking me to get ready earlier since a long time ago. For this, I stepped into the council room for the first time, and gradually increased to the fourth.
Entering May, the exams somehow came without me even noticing it. I didn't know what to study or revise so I looked for the earliest paper I will be taking. If I'm not mistaken, Physics was just a few days away from that day. I opened up the book and flipped through the pages, not knowing what to look at. Somehow, weirdly, I decided to start all over from the form 4 syllabus and when I was reading through the first few chapters, I found myself "addicted" to Physics. Even after finishing all three papers of Physics, I still brought the book with me to school and read it. I read Physics when it was Chemistry on that day. >< On a Sunday during the examination period, I went for a 7km run at UPM. It was held by Milo and it is called the Milo Breakfast Day Run 2013. I went there with my parents, my sister couldn't join us because she hurt her leg. I felt really great after finishing the race, an unexplainable feel of achievement. I wouldn't have known about this race if Wen Rong didn't told me about it. This was the first time I have ever joined an official marathon (excluding the ones in school).
After the exams, there was a two weeks holiday. I wasn't really looking forward to the holidays. But still, it went on quite well. On the 10th of June, school reopened and we got back our exam results. I felt a little tired at school, I guess it was caused by my late wake-ups during the holidays.
Just to add on, I have not touched the computer for about a month or so (if I'm not wrong), and I finally did. C=

元宵节 (Yuan Xiao Jie) a.k.a. Lantern Festival
Last last Sunday, it was the 14th of January of the Lunar Calender. That is also the 2nd last day of the Chinese New Year. Childhood friends visited my house for a 'bai nian'. We did a lot of fun things that night, we watch tv, chit chat and also GAMBLE!! Luckily, I didn't lose any money, but, I didn't win much either, just a ringgit.

The next day, it is the last day of Chinese New Year. I went to my uncle's house at Kota Damansara to celebrate. There was a Lion Dance performance at my uncle's house.
Lion Dance is a traditional dance in the Chinese culture. Lion Dance troupes from Chinese martial art troupes will visit houses and shops to perform the traditional custom of "cai ching" (採青). The Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck and fortune to an individual's business.
Other than the Lion Dance, my uncle's friend also invited Shaolin Monks from the Shaolin Temple of China. They performed a few well known stunts. The first one is the iron head stunt, the monk first concentrates his energy fully on his head, then breaks a genuine metal bar with his head, without pain.

January of 2012
In this post, I am going to talk about the interesting events that happened in January.
I would like to talk about my trip to China during Chinese New Year 2 weeks ago which is from the 22nd to the 27th. I went there as a gathering trip with my grandparents, my paternal uncles and cousins. I had to stay up all night from 21st of January until 2a.m. of 22nd of January to go to the airport. Then in the plane, I slept during the whole flight. Surprisingly, the crowd in China wasn't as expected, cars are hardly found in the highways. According to the tour guide, China citizens are all celebrating Chinese New Year with their families at their hometowns. We went to a few tourist attractions such as the Bird's Heaven, Window of the World, and much more. Sadly, I got food poisoning on the second last day of the trip and missed a lot during the trip. The weather there was very cold, it was about 3-5 degree Celcius. I had to wear 4-5 layers of clothes. In conclusion, it was a decent trip, I get to be with all my family members and I enjoyed the trip pretty much. That's all.
